12 Types of People The World Has Zero Sympathy For
Are there any types of people that you find yourself having zero sympathy for? I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that people who inappropriately touch children are high on my list. As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse (CSA), I can tell you that it messes you up for the rest of your life.
From not developing boundaries or other necessary life skills to engaging in destructive behaviors like promiscuity and substance abuse, the long-term effects of that abuse are unforgivable, but I’m trying. Here is a look at several types of people the world has no sympathy for. Do you?
1. Animal Abusers

Animal abusers are universally despised as unusually cruel people. They are helpless to defend themselves, making it a sickening offense. USA Today reports that 10 million animals die from animal cruelty, neglect, and abuse each year in the U.S. That is unacceptable and sad. Dogs are the most commonly reported, but cats, horses, and livestock are also abused.
2. Cheaters

Cheaters are the worst and earn zero respect from the majority. If you’re not happy with a relationship, end it. Don’t devastate another person’s heart and life with your lies, betrayal, and ongoing deception.
It’s sad and unfortunate how Hollywood has romanticized affairs. There’s nothing cute about them. It’s not OK because someone is “unhappy.” One person’s selfishness and cowardice in doing the right thing destroy hearts and families daily.
3. Drunk Drivers

Drunk drivers are another group of people that the world has no sympathy for because drunk drivers kill innocent people every day. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports: “37 people in the United States die in drunk-driving crashes — that’s one person every 39 minutes.”
4. Narcissists

There is a massive difference between having narcissistic tendencies (normal when they occur occasionally) and being a full-on narcissist. The easiest way to know if you are one is if you ever question it because of some tendencies in your behavior; you’re not. Narcissists don’t question it because they don’t self-reflect; they are not self-aware.
5. People Who Prey on Seniors

People who prey on older adults are the scum of the earth. There are thousands of scams that target grandmothers and grandfathers, and that is a whole other level of disrespect that earns zero sympathy from society.
Imagine working your entire life and having someone steal your retirement in the blink of a transaction. Imagine the type of person it takes to rob someone’s children and grandchildren of a chance at building any generational wealth. Disgusting.
6. Politicians

Politicians suck, period—all of them. I don’t understand how anyone believes anything that any of them are saying from either party. The entire system is corrupt, and yet, here I am, watching extremists from both sides behave like anyone else in a cult.
These politicians are liars who do not have the American people’s interests at heart, so I and many others who are waking up to that reality have zero sympathy for them. American politics is the biggest reality show in the world, and you keep watching. Turn it off. I don’t know anyone who is passionate about news and politics who isn’t angry, bitter, and blinded by their allegiance.
7. Child Abusers

It should go without saying that child abusers get no sympathy from the public. Kids are so small and innocent, and it doesn’t take a lot of abuse to cause a child to have lifelong issues detrimental to their mental health. Child Protect says: “3.6 million cases of child abuse are reported every year in the U.S.” — five children die daily.
8. People Who Make False Allegations

People who make false allegations against innocent people create so much unnecessary grief. Besides hurting the innocent accused, it makes it that much more challenging when people come forward with real allegations of abuse or other illegal activities.
9. Rude Customers

Rude customers are enough to make the sweetest person lose their cool. The world is full of entitled people walking around in their little bubbles, expecting the world to cater to them center stage.
Every day, videos are uploaded showing people freaking out in public about food and service workers. I can tell you that I am no stranger to crying in the walk-in cooler. I’ve been screamed at, cursed at, and threatened as a server.
Another common assault is creepy guys saying the nastiest things to you like you owe them that attention. I’ve been touched, grabbed, and even had a man put his hand up my skirt. Many men confuse cocktail servers with selling other services at casinos. We don’t. It’s our job to smile and be nice. We don’t like you.
I’ve had pictures taken without my consent while bending over to stock coolers and even had a man try to force me into a bathroom by putting his hand around my neck at the restaurant I was serving at. I don’t know if men deal with this type of customer, but I promise you that women do in all types of customer service positions.
10. Internet Pranksters

Have you read stories about internet pranksters being beaten up or, in the case of YouTuber Tanner Cook, getting shot because of their foolishly ignorant pranks on people? It seems a risky business for some internet clout, and most Americans have zero sympathy for the pranksters when they find themselves in hot water.
11. Corporations

Giant corporations aren’t a people type, per se, but they attract a particular type at the top—greedy ones. Nobody has any sympathy for these greedy corporations crying like babies about people not wanting to work for wages that won’t support them anymore.
They no longer come with the perks such as unions, pensions, and profit sharing. So why question the loyalty? They did it to themselves. They only care about siphoning all the profits to the top and the shareholders.
12. Billionaires

Speaking of greed, who out here really understands the implications of having billionaires in a world where people die every day for not having basic needs met, including food, water, shelter, and healthcare? It’s not right.
These people could solve world issues but hoard wealth they’ll never spend in their lifetime while going into space or taking trips to see the Titanic at the bottom of the sea. Anyone with any compassion, heart, or Jesus in their life would take issue with this reality.
